Check before you pay

Check a scam account, phone number or LINE ID: has anyone reported it?

A name, a LINE ID, a phone number, an email address or a bank account number. We show what people reported, how many, and when. We do not judge.

How to check an account or a phone number

  1. Type the bank account number, phone number, LINE ID or shop name you were asked to pay or add.
  2. Start the check. What you type is not kept and never appears in a web address.
  3. See how many people reported it, when, and what they said. No reports is not proof that it is safe.

Questions people ask

What can I look up?

A bank account number, a phone number, a LINE ID, or a shop or page name.

No reports: does that mean it is safe?

No. Most scam accounts have never been reported anywhere, so no reports only means nobody has told us yet. If you have already transferred money, call your bank and the 1441 anti-online-scam hotline straight away.

Who files the reports, and can I trust them?

People who signed in. One person can report a name or number once, and we do not check their story, so we show counts, dates and reasons, not verdicts.

Is what I type kept?

No. What you type is not kept, and it never appears in a web address, a browser history or a search index.

Been scammed? How do I warn the next person?

Report the account on the report page. You sign in first, so one person counts once, and the next person who checks it will see your report.
